Re: Unwritten Fell Running Rul
I was being mischievous when I said about folding numbers, didn't want to totally derail the thread. Apologies! :o

I had a chilly day out the same day as the XOTF and I can assure you it was damn damn damn cold. Sweat icicle anyone? Sorry Dave, but it is your best side...:-)

Ere softie, do you remember that thread that got to about 300 replies on folded numbers. I laughed by bits off at how serious it all got.
Anyway unwritten rules - According to the master you should never wear shorts over leggings. Personally I think its a good look.

Yup, Dec 11th. Anticlockwise this time. Hoping for 5-6 degrees, clag, no wind and no blizzards this time.

I'm saddened by the argument that companies are resentful of number folders because of the loss of exposure for their company logos, it just doesn't sound like cricket to me, the less accountants there are in fell running the better. I would gladly pay extra for the cost of the number, perhaps this argument could be brought to a close by someone who knows PB asking him what he thinks?
Last time I saw him, 2 weeks ago, he was (no, actually it was who I assumed is his wife) bollocking someone for folding a PB race number. It was at Sedbergh Hills, lol.
PS they don't flap in the wind if you crumple them up first

Had a good laugh at that - i ran in skinz only recently and felt very self conscious and add the shorts over the top now for the sake of everyone else. :-0

Don't get into the habit of thumping O.A.P. runners when you overtake them. (IDP please note!!!)
