I reached the summit of Narnain just in front of Paul cornforth and John hunt I went down the tourist track and they went straight down and they beat me by about 3 minutes, and I felt like I had a good descent! :o

What a fantastic but brutal race! The chocolate that was supplied by the summit marshals on Beinn Ime, was the best I'v ever tasted! :thumbup:

Spoke to a chap on the way to the pub who saw a pair of running shoes in the car-park. He'd been back to the village hall, but the race organiser had left. I'm pretty sure he said he was going to leave them with a chap in the hall who said he'd be able to contact the organiser. He only mentioned one pair, though. However, I'd say it's worth contacting the organiser.

Next time, hopefully, I won't get cramp and I'll be able to keep up with you, Nicky!

Brilliant day out apart from going wrong in the forest near the end which made me finish just over my 5 hours target (by 25 seconds).

Legs were not too bad yesterday but everything is aching today couldnt even face the bike so drove to work.

Anyone know where the full results can be found ?

What a shame, I was the lady who was descending with you for a bit - we had 50 minutes to get down in under 5 hours....you had a cracking descent didnt see you for dust. What a shame you went a bit wrong. I stuck to path but missed the 5 hour mark by about 2 mins in the end. Wasnt bothered though just glad to actually finish - it was a brutal race!
