Joking apart last years was great. Why don't we just leave it as it is?
Personally I'd prefer to keep it as it was, i.e. 'competing' against the men, just as we do in actual races (well, most of them). Having said that, it would be good to have the M or F listed next to each name so we can also how we are doing against others of the same gender - gender isn't obvious from some forum names (cough, cough:o).
I'm up for keeping it the same. I'm not bothered about winning as, like in any fell race, I will never win it but it is actually quite nice to see how I rank against the men in the races and on here. Having said that, if any women can be bothered to start a 'ladies' champs, I'd do that too. Occasionally I get lucky and the fast women don't show up so I get a good position:thumbup: I came second in the Bransdale race last year (after running Borrowdale a few days before) probably because nobody knew where it was! (cracking race by the way...check it out)
Looks like fun, DTS! Can I play please?
First race looking like Lambs Longer Leg next weekend - perhaps give Stagger some competition!
Can I recommend the Ian Roberts race from Marsden CC in March? Seeing as I'm organising it, I'm prepared to let everyone else take the points...!!!;)
Count me in Daz. Mind you, I'm not sure I'll be running at all in Jan. If I'm fit enough, it'll be the Hebden. Feb Anglezarke Amble & S. Shropshire Circular. Unless LDWA events are excluded, in which case see you in March...
**Puts hand up** please can I play ?!
Thanks to Dom's calculator (sheer brilliance) I think I get a massive 22 points for the (hungover thanks for the sympathy Amex) Giants Tooth :o
Planning to have a go at Tigger Tor so perhaps I can improve on my January score there (it will be my 40th so always hopeful of some birthday magic)?!
