Yep, definitely blame the Glossopdalers for going the wrong way!!
And Grouse is quite correct, I only caught him because he went wrong 3 times and I only went wrong twice. When I heard Des shouting at us, I just thought it was some farmer ("Get orf my land").
Anyway, it was a cracking little course, and I also felt sorry for John Hewitt - especially after I told him before the race that I thought he would win.
Anyone out for a trot tomorrow ? Anyone know the route - presumably up to Harry hut.
Going by the last couple of years, I would guess at this moment Des is the only one who knows the route for sure.
According to Des it is a new route this year. One thing for certain, if it's one of Des's races, it'll be worth going to.
thanks to des and all marhalls at todays race, cracking race and route if a tad too warm and well done to everyone, just on my second glass of my winnings and going down a treat.
steve.
Yep I agree, really good friendly race and good marshalling, especially where we crossed the road. Will soon be enjoying my winnings for second lady too, mmm.
That was a really enjoyable route. Thank you to Des & his marshalls. Managed another top 25 finish ;)
