At this year's race there was a craft fair in the village. There were some photographic prints for sale, one in particular of a Jura stag that looked like it had just climbed out of a bog.
Does anyone remember it who could tell me the name of the photographer. An awesome print that I should have bought when I was there. Thanks.

A friend sent it me last night and I really enjoyed it, not least, as on my only visit there I couldn't see my hand in front of my face!

I managed to find another film by the same guy called 'The Run Home'. I realised he's just a lad but I didn't think he was that young!
I think both films are excellent.
Did anyone notice that Mr Wild had a rather good Jura race? Well; we are supposed to be a Fell Running Forum and this is the finest performance in possibly the finest fell race.
my Pete Bland map tells me the record from 2014 was 3hrs06.... so that's a huge chunk off the record!
I Think You will find Finlay Wild has had the record since 2014 with a time of 3:05:14, so yes 2:58:09 does take a fair chunk out of his old record.Quote:

26 minutes ahead of the second-placed runner! Even on a race like Jura, that's some going.
I had a very disappointing day but it was significantly improved by being back at the finish just in time to see Finlay come in. To say he seemed pleased would be an understatement of massive proportions!
