And its now on Fawlty Towers.
Just seen McFly at work
Had to google them mind - knew their faces were familiar but didn't know why :o
Temporarily short of funds after a visit from the heating engineer
Boiler broke down so I turned on the immersion heater for hot water till the engineer arrived and it blew! A new fan required for the boiler and a new immersion heater. There was hardly any covering left on the immersion heater coil when he got it out so the water was in direct contact with the electrical coil when it was switched on! Engineer said I was lucky though as sometimes when you take the coil out the holding bit can become detached from the cistern as its only brazed in and then you need a new cistern. I will try and hold onto that bit of luck while I am getting over my empty wallet!
How annoying are Apple with their I tunes policy. I am constantly trying to move songs around broken computers.
I spent all night putting blurry video together of my Outdoor Activities only to be told I couldn't put any trashy music onto my masterpiece because I've already authorised 5 computers. I don't think I've owned 5 computers in my life.
I don't think drinking wine helped my tech skills but HOW stressful. Why do they make it so difficult to use music I've paid for .********
Right who can I rant at now?
Stressful day already!
Why have I spent 3 hours in work dealing with previous "incidents" and fire fighting management dramas :sneaky:
It is certainly quiet in the Trog household, it is a pleasant change having had a couple of days of howling winds.
No howling winds this far north, cracking running weather out on the hill. Lovely Jubbly
Today's to do list is so long I don't know where to start...
Very Quiet............

Little 'un's doing well Steve
Enjoy your evening you 2.
Night night till tomorow.
A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month! :D
Hooray mince pie month :D
Ha ha, hope you've managed to get some running in today OHW
I won't lie, yesterday was horrendous. I offered to take my mother shopping and for lunch yesterday knowing that she really enjoys these outings, I think she sees it as a bonding session or something... Anyway, she is quite ill and usually can't manage long on her feet, so I thought, great, get over there, do my duties with the masses in Nottingham City Centre, mother happy, me fed and watered, then escape in time for a couple of hours running. Oh no... Perhaps she has been on the mince pies too because out of nowhere she developed stamina! Gah! We didn't leave til the shops were shutting and it was dark! Talk about torture.
Thankfully I had prepared for this by buying some luxury homemade brandy mince pies from the Christmas market the previous day, so at least I had that to look forward to.
Sadly, because I also had lots of chores to do, my 2 hour run was cut down to about half an hour
At least you still got out OHW.
I'm always amazed at how much energy the GF's mum has for shopping. Not nearly as amazed at how much she buys though, can never actually figure out the thought processes that determine what gets purchased. Didn't need it yesterday but do today!? What's that all about?
Pfft who knows shaunaneto, I have no idea either. I shouldn't grumble too much though as she bought me a new pair of boots which I didn't really need, but as soon as I saw them I couldn't be without them ;)
I suppose it's a bit like what happens to me when I go into a push bike shop!
Only 21 sleeps till Christmas according to Asda this morning.
Well some of us might manage to squeeze a few naps in between the sleeps :D
Funny old thing Crimbo.
In life you start of as a child thinking it's ages and ages away, then the bugger seems to hit the gas at some point. Mid thirties now and I feel like a rabbit staring into car headlights on a main road.
The fact that it involves an 18hr to 20hr round trip just to get to the family now doesn't seem to be helping.
Eugh, long trip shaunaneto. Bad news. Can't you make them move closer ;)
I love Christmas :D
I've cut the mince pies down to 1 per day though - started to get worried I'd be sick of them too soon :closed:
I could try OHW. I'm not moving closer to them however, they live in Norfolk. Terrible place, to get a good view for miles and miles there you just have stand on a chair no hill required.
Far too flat - agreed. They should move :closed:
Or come to you. No... Probably bad idea if your family is anything like mine :w00t:
God no, not here for Crimbo. That many young children in one place, the maelstrom would be devastating. And the cat would be terrified.
It doesnt seem very "quiet around here".
Mmmm. Mince pies.
OneHillWonder - What big eyes's you've got. (avatar). Enjoyed having a, long, read of your blog too.
