Market research OHW, I was hanging on for the construction phase until the GF gets back.
I think they have a new chocolatier in, they usually look better. Taste the same, which is what counts the most. I really want to suss out the top left one, the others I know the recipes for. But top left is champagne, perhaps I should go back for more research.
I'll see if I can dig out some photos of the previous batch. I don't like making them too often, there's a minimum amount of chocolate you need for it to be workable. Usually end up with 50+ truffles, and they all need eating.
Ne'er mind champagne. Is there a Jaffa Cake flavour one? :closed:
I'll have one of each please
You could get close to a Jaffa cake, the bottom one is Orange and Geranium (la de da), use a reasonably high Cocoa milk chocolate for the ganache and keep essence of Orange. Use a shell and top it off with orange jelly.
Not sure how to get the sponge base involved though.
Sounds like you've set yourself a challenge there shauneneto ;)
£100 of vouchers thanks to the cat.

My cat has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism  He lost over a pound in weight as apparently he is producing too much hormone and it is burning the food off quicker than he can eat it. He has been on tablets for the last week or so and has now put most of the weight back on. It takes two of us to get the tablet down his throat as he puts up quite a fight. Mrs Alf has him wrapped in a towel while I grab his head wearing a gardening glove and open his mouth  He has to have the pill swallowed whole as it slowly releases something into his system.
He is looking a lot better now but his basketball skills have disappeared
Well, she does like laptops. I guess all this time she was just figuring out how to use them, rather than just warming her butt on the keyboard.Quote:
Clever of him/her to enter
Hmm, the £100 seems to have been spent. Can't help but think she's been down the pub with it.

My internet provider has a broken cable apparently. No service till 9 pm at earliest. Now how can I view emails on my smartphone?
I'm trying to get my sleeping bag back into its holding bag after a camping trip at the weekend. I always have this problem and ended up hurling it across the room in frustration with a few expletives. Mrs Alf thought she would have a try. With all her expertise in getting Duvets back into their covers I thought it would be a doddle for her. After giving it her best shot she has retired to lick her wounds. The bag is just sat there on the rug at the moment "grinning" at me
