Wow hann you're on fire!! :)
Three Peaks Cyclocross entry is off :)
It seems to me your very much there
If you have been struggling with your health for a period you are doing very well by just riding away. Well done. So I personally dont think thats a weakness. You are adding a very honest and interesting view of someone who simply struggles a bit going Up. We all to a point find hills hard Flopsy.
Keep going and let us know how u get on
Nice one. Thankyou for sharing the health and injury issue. It gives me a bigger picture of what you have had to battle with.
[QUOTE=Al Fowler;342385]Hahahaha.

12 mile round trip for a second interview for another new job, really like the look of it, hope i get it, find out on Monday.
Oooh a new smileysmile
More like a toothy than a smiley!
Every time i type smiley................................there you go:rolleyes:
:))
.
I am all smiley because I raced again... and held out for 4th or 5th I think... got away with the break, which went early... then got dropped and TT-ed for a couple of laps between bunch and break, as I have a crap sprint so didn't want to drop back to the bunch...
Noooooooo!
meant to be doing 100 mile sportive sunday
last night had a sore throat on the right hand side - so had a look in the mirror to see white coated tonsil - been to docs this morning - see if penicillin will work in 2 days - don't want to get really ill - might have to commit to my sponsors to ride the route on a different day - a*se ar*e ar*e
Was looking forward to a sunny bike ride on Sunday but just looked at the forecast and it going to be ark weather! Looking forward to being back in the UK now. Looking like a much needed longish trot out on the hills instead.
Oh, Ratfink, I hope you get better and well enough for Sunday :(
Raced again tonight, knackered now... easy ride tomorrow before work...
Satmap Active 10 bike.
Just bought it from Amazon.
Costs a fortune. I waited long but now is coming ...
With Le Tour fever I got my Ribble out just now.
I decided on my local 12 mille route through the country lanes and through a couple of small villages/hamlets before hitting a few big A roads and finising the Lolly-pop shaped loop back into my village.
Theres a few sharp climbs to trash my quads (but nothing major climbing wise for all you seasoned roadies - 645 feet total) with a head-wind on every bloody stretch of road.
I was banking on being able to belt it down some of the fast down hills but the wind was horrendous.
12 miles - 38:30mins, Ave 18.9mph.
Knocked 3 minutes off my previous best for the route even against the head winds. Quads are destroyed now.
Pretty rubbish really but I gave it my all....and I even got a smile and a hello from 3 hot girls out on their horses whilst I was climbing the first hill ;)
No cycling whatsoever this weekend! Apart from watching some of my friends race in the national masters track champs this afternoon :)
Raced 3x last week though, Tues 10m tt, pb, Thursday circuit race, 5th, Friday crit, 4th... so legs were shot and needed a rest :)
no biking all weekend :(
Blimey - Todays Bike ride on page 3 - are we all watching le tour?!
45 miles for me ce soir.
Heading out through the villages of woodplumpton, Inskip, Elswick then picking up the not so pleasant A6 to Fleetwood although did a bit of a detour and headed through Poulton le Fylde and onward to the prom at Blackpool joining it at South Shore - Bispham. Took a pic of the tower and the sea - the tide was in  but don't know how to take it off the iphone.:o Nice bracing headwind for what seemed a flippin age  and given the time of year (and night) Blackpool wasn't half busy, loads of regeneration work going on they must have spent a fortune, looks a lot better than it did and those donuts always smell better than they look - no I didn't buy any!!
Back through St Annes and Lytham, Warton etc....had to race the sunset as my back light came off somewhere on route - only noticed when I went to switch it on
Ave 18mph for me, err forgot to stop the watch when I had a quick break for the photo opportunity and IT WAS WINDY - again!!
is that the flat route ?
40miles for me with a few climbs and yes I BLOODY FELL OFF due to some stupid woman on a phone. Grrrrrrr, I had to jump the kerb but came down heavy. Bit of road rash but the bike escaped unscathed. She drove away chatting on the phone oblivious.
Very odd stage on the tour today. Chavanel winning on a Mercyx bike in Belgium. With Eddy at the finish.
How cool is that.
That is very cool Daz :) Hmmm, gotto just love Eddy! Have you seen Chavanels new bike? A yellow and green one :) The polkadot one is also rather cool, I'd fancy one of those...
Good to see some of you are out putting the miles in! I have a 10m TT tonight, so not many miles but still sore legs! Track tomorrow first thing too...
Mud, tough luck mate! :p
Legs knackered now! Another 10 pb...
And a hard track session this morning... and an almost pb on the flying 500m TT... :-O I must be doing something right?
top pic
Todays bike ride was much like yesterdays bike ride. Both with BillJ off these here forums, but without the puncture that he suffered yesterday !
Aaaargh! Overslept and missed the first set of track specific stuff on the turbo! I may get a chance to do it tonight, but doubt it... :(
Great pic indeed. No tri bars on your TT machine?
