What a brilliant race. A bit breezy in places but a fine dry day. Many thanks to Steve and Wynne and all the marshals on all those windswept summits.
Another excellent race, cheers Wynn, Steve and all the marshalls :)
I'd like to echo Deejay and Hopey's comments.
My 1st time up in the lakes for a fell race and it was super. Well organised, great course, and extremely good potato pie and ale afterwards.
Thanks everyone for a great day out.
Wohoooooooooooooooo....good fun at the unique atmosphere that is the Anniversary Waltz...
made possible by the wonderful Steve and Wynn and their lovely marshalls (even got a hug off one of them!)
x Looks like Chris Knox did a great job with the juniors ...loads of happy kids round
.... wonderful day. Thank you xx

Thanks Moo, I couldn't have done the juniors without our superb marshals. The U/16/18 race had to abandon the summit of Skelgill Bank as neither of the two marshals could stand up in the wind, so we did two laps of the U/14 course.
Nice to see Lloyd mixing it with the teenagers at our finish - but we did point him over to the senior finish afterwards too, just make sure he still actually won!
A fantastic race..... but frigging windy in places :D
First time for me, cracking race and atmosphere.
Managed to bump into a few forumites and meet a few new ones.
Nice to see rossy juniors out in force too
I'd just like to say a big thank you to those folk, both runners and spectators, who gave me provisions when I 'hit the wall' yesterday on the Waltz. Left the faithful mint cake in the car and subsequently got rather woozey. A special thank you to Mr. Broxap for offering a a slug from his flask - I don't know what was in it, but it got me running again!
Looking forward to next year - cracking weather, well done to the organisers for that!
