I think the main road will be fine. However, the roads to Wainstalls and Blackshaw head might be a tad impassable to most sensible drivers. There's no way I'd take my car up to Blackshaw head at the moment. That is, if I could get it out of the car park at home first...
I reccied leg 3 last Thursday. Some nice footprints to follow, but if the snow freezes it could get a bit tricky where the snow has been compacted on the route. No problems getting from Huddersfield to Tod. Top car park at the leisure centre leg 2/3 changeover was closed due to the ice, so might have to leave cars elsewhere.
Just hope our leg 1 & 2 runners don't hang about. Don't want to be stood about for long in the freezing cold!
Just been round leg 1, lovely afternoon for it, a few interesting descents on ice, though managed to stay on my feet all the way round. Hope to see everyone at the weekend.

News travels fast on the "Fellvine". Simonside Cairns is postponed as well (probably not unexpected that one :rolleyes:) so feet up this weekend I think :D
