Re: Overweight to Race-weight
I would have thought that too. It doesn't seem fair does it? I ran an extended route in the snow of the three peaks last week and found I'd put weight on the day after...what's that all about?!

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
I'm hungry. No biscuits in the house (the kids aren't happy about that, but I do the shopping). No Xmas cake left. All the remaining chocolate in the house has been hidden, as they all know I'll pinch it given half a chance. And tea won't be till 9:15 tonight as the kids have got band practice. Still, I've got to get the lbs off if I want to get more than this month's paltry 49 forum champs points next month. Perhaps another apple...
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
Just found a Mars bar in the fridge. I think it was part of my emergency food for the Trigger. Its gone now I've realised the weigh-in is on the 30th

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
ha ha, I raided my running backpack last night too. Found a chewy cereal bar partially covered in chocolate, yum! Weighed this morning and I'm back to 139lbs so I don't know where that other pound came from.

I found two Aldi Mars bars copies on Sunday, also Trigger left overs. There was only one place they were going to go :o

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
62.5 :)
I am planning on loosing half a kilo a week, so that is all going to plan. When I come back from training camp mid february I hope to have achieved my raceweight again :)
