Quiet Around Here

Its likely to be even quieter around here, not that you'll miss my inane posts mind, as I'm off to Greece for two weeks tomorrow. I will be running still hopefully, although I tend to be a bit of a horse fly magnet when I run in the boonies, sweating my nuts off in 35+ degrees of heat over there. Some of those boogers draw blood when they chomp into you :( and the bite always turns into a huge, itchy lump........... that is so, so satisfying to pick the head off every now and then :) .

Midges in the Lakes and Dales? Pah!

I like both those words but I'd like to know what they mean.
