Today's poet

I was listening to Johnathan Ross and he had Rufus Wainwright on who sung one of Shakespeares Sonnets to his own music. It was really good.

Freckle, this is a great choice! I do love the rhythm of it and the last verse particularly. I was reading 'Rapture', Carol Ann Duffy's book, as a result of HHH and DT's postings and she references Louis MacNeice in a poem.

lush! Oh how I am loving spring and thanks for the Browning DT. I've been reading Rapture and thought the inclusion of that in the book was inspired. It is so beautiful.

Saw that Browning a while ago and loved it. Was reminded when came across it again quoted in Rapture :cool:

Think I'll have to read the whole poem. I'm desperate to write some haiku based on today's race at Blakey Blitz but words are failing me....hope to come back with some!
