Just wondering...where does the u/18 race actually go to]
some thumbs down has come up...not a clue how though
Re: Snowdon International Race
Seems a pretty hefty wedge to run up the Llanberis path.
Do you get a t-shirt/meal/drinks with that price?

Its a brilliant run up snowdon though...probably not but you can make a weekend of it and go for a run ther next day as well and almost half the cost if you think of it in that way ;)

Yeah I know its a good run mate, had a bash at it last summer, racing the train up :p
Even so, there must be good reason for the big price tag, thats all I want to know :)

A massive race though so the over heads will be huge. Very popular so supply and demand suggests its not too expensive.
Personally I don't mind paying more for the bigger races. I think it puts people off entering and then deciding not too run. When races are less than a £5 I think people just enter and wait and see.
Re: Snowdon International Race
Me and the missus have just put our entries in the post.
Whatever 'blurb' she was reading suggested the entry price included both a t-shirt & a post-race meal, which to me makes it a reasonable deal. We had the food a few years ago when it was a tenner extra (race fee was a lot less then) and it was a good old chow down.
If it weren't for the meal & t-shirt i'd suggest it was overpriced, regardless of supply & demand, although i'd probably still be tempted.
