heavy snow falling here again, my daughter is already planing what she is going to do tomorrow
Last winter the snow lasted for the longest time I can remember, this winter it's the deepest I've ever known.
And it's not even December yet (just about). Apart from last winter we usually have to wait until February for a millimetre of wet stuff that lasts 5 minutes. It makes you think.
It's snowing down here in Stockport now, but it's still less than half an inch depth. In any normal year we are the last to get snow anyway. The surrounding hills block it. Most years we get none. Last December to June during the abnormal wind directions we joined Cumbria in enjoying a 7-month drought.
Over six inches here. The town was gridlocked earlier with abandoned cars.
Still managed a run over the hills and go to the running club agm. Low numbers mind.
Heavy snow coming down now.
11 inches on the ground here and still snowing hard.
Snow here. Lots. School closed. Bugger.
Hardly any in London town - just some left over bits frozen solid.
 No trains in or out of Nottingham at the moment though so not too sure about getting home.
And Bath has the merest sprinkling....
The roads in my village were like ice rinks last night.
I slept in this morning by thirty minutes and was glad to see it was white enough outside to give me an excuse! Hope no managers are on the forum this morning.
