13 Assassins on Film4 now. :)
Thank you Pilgrim for reminding me about this thread.
"Untouchable" (French with subtitles) 7/10. Touching but never really delivered.
It stars that bloke out of Tell no-one. Another French film that I'd give 9/10.
Incidentally, I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other day. I had avoided this film, thinking "it's about a guy from the slums who goes on who wants to a millionaire - that sounds rubbish". But it's really good. If you've avoided it like I had, I'd advise you to watch it. 8/10 :)
I had this at work today on a loo break.Quote:

Donnie Darko on the Horror Channel last night.
The Devil's Backbone on the Horror channel tonight.
They're coming along.
Lincoln - Some good performances but found the film a bit hard going. It was sort of like an episode of The West Wing (which I loved) only slowed right down.
Ditto on Lincoln
Only god forgives - You could easily be forgiven for thinking this was a Lynch film, however it clearly isn't. Whilst I enjoyed it, it did come across as trying a little bit too hard to be weird - the dedication to Alejandro Jodorowski in the credits could be the explanation for this. It's nothing like what the trailers lead you to believe, but if you either enjoy a weird film or you're a fan of Gossling it's worth a watch.
Also watched Wunderlust - another cracker from Judd Apatow, very funny and well worth a watch if you;ve enjoyed his previous work.
Blue valentine - Good, but pretty depressing
Super 8.
Entertaining, which is always a very good thing in a film, though think I usually prefer thought provoking.
Sidekick kids steal the show though, main kid the most forgettable of the group. The one with the firecracker fixation gets the best lines.
