Thought you were giving up this running lark Master? Fleeter can give us all a lift  Wonder if his new car is a nauseous shade of puce :D
Forgot the race was on sunday AK. Rather scuppers my cunning plan, although I've done a few long races with a well fuelled liver
Well done passing your test Fleeter. By the time you read this, it'll be your birthday, and you'll be w*****ed again. Your replies should be interesting :D
Actually my Newky Broon supplying friend i knew it was us two!!!!!
Wor lass woke up with a start as i unzipped the tent and said "You better dissapear ASAP, my husband will be back soon"
No more smerking tabs fer me, me old marra;)
BE TUFF, DON'T PUFF
Oh yeah so i was...i suppose i'll be giving up in the same way the Rolling Stones have been doing their farewell tour since 1972:cool:
Has young Fleeter got wheels yet? Should make it easier to abandon old washing machines and elderly relatives on Scafell Pike the dirty flytipping roadhog:D
Fantastic, the new ponymobile!
Think he was after a liitle Pug (ugly car, not ugly dog). If he's got the colour wrong, we can always rearrange it for him. Should go down well in darkest Oldham :p
Good to see you back with the itch, Master. Now we've just got to get Fellmonster off his arse :D
GLad you were only unzipping the tent, and glad you have packed the tabs in like cos ya ar a fit gadgy but need ta be a bit fitter like chorber!!!
Pink vest is getting its first airing tomorrrow at Osmotherley Phoenix, me thinks DJ is also in pink, could raise a few eyebrows what.
Is Sedbergh EOD?
One of the legendary pink vests (as avid readers of this thread will know) is in the possession of my elder daughter, The Tussockmaiden, who is currently living in Marseille. Here is a tale of the Tussockmaiden.
Last year, she lived in Nice. She went to a sports shop to buy a pair of running shorts and while there spotted a notice which appeared to advertise a practice session at a local stadium. She plucked up the courage to go along; she had to jog about 5 miles to get there and had to hang around for ages. When the session finally began, she was surprised to find herself warming up with a very small number of teenage girls, all black French, in front of a crowd. She was made welcome but found the warm-ups tougher than she'd expected.
The coach then set them off running intervals on laps of the track, and every time it came to a sprint, the French girls shot off in a cloud of dust with The Tussockmaiden hanging on gamely.
She later discovered that she was training with the French national junior 400m squad .
This comedy genius suggests to me that she is a true and worthy Fell Pony, albeit our only current overseas runner.
A natural born Fell Pony if ever there was one:cool:
I do believe we have a Pony in Russia though;)
would that make them a 'Trotsky' then?

Stuart Smith;)
There were two of us Ponies doing the Carr Lane Challenge (just outside Bradford) this afternoon. Multiterrainer was given a T-shirt that said "Dirty Days Out", and they gave me the number 69...
Has our reputation gone before us?;)
