I've sent off my entry. Sounds like the kind of race everybody should try at least once in his/her life, and this year (out of a dwindling stock) seemed as good as any!

Just to clarify, I haven't been diagnosed with a terminal illness or anything. I was just taking the long view of life and applying logic....:)

Personally I don't mind paying more for the bigger races. I think it puts people off entering and then deciding not too run. When races are less than a £5 I think people just enter and wait and see.
Justified the cost to me Ian! Don't know whether or not I think it will be worth it at the end though!!!! Ask me at the finish.....ooo eerrrrrr!!!
Re: Snowdon International Race
anyone know when this race is likely to be full up? would like to enter, but a bit far in advance for me, not sure of plans for this summer
Re: Snowdon International Race
Sent my entry off, can we have a useable technical t shirt for that price? the last two are still in my drawer.
Really enjoyable day out, well worth the drive up.
Re: Snowdon International Race
I'm thinking that the price tag is fair value even though it's still quite a lot. I guess it's to be expected for such a big event and associated co-ordination.
Re: Snowdon International Race
I registered on the site and put my entry in the post,
Done this route before but never the race, so looking forward to it,
Re: Snowdon International Race
It's a fine race and attracts lots of top Italian athletes, who are seriously good at downhill. I did it in 1981 and then in 2002. The big change over those years is the engineering of the path, which resembles something of a motorway in places. There's alot of vertically placed slabs to drain water off and it's easy to take a stumble on the way down when you're tired and your eyes are watering.
Re: Snowdon International Race
sent off entry form . apart from cheque being cashed , how are you notified to say whether your in or not ?
