Ok, before this thread descends into a bitch fight between the two young wipper snappers, put me down as a strong maybe. Never been to the lakes in the winter. Very excited.

Tom your too young for this:confused: the run ok, but night club will not let you in:eek:
Al has earned his stripes for this so me and NOYH will look after him you alas are the same age as my daughter. and i don't want to talk Mobiles and face book all night. Not a dig at you at all in fact i am jealous of your age
Amex: may have missed this in an earlier post, but what's the cost? Or is it all fend for ourselves for somewhere to stop the night?
No Cost pal, we run well lets sort this run thing out the main aim of the day is taking the piss out of everybody there. we trot walk round have a very good craic, some will be in fancy dress some will be in legwarmers.
All will be sat in George at about 7 pm we buy rounds of ale then walk down to Lakeland Spice the table booked is always full length of the place people buy beer and drink it or dip poppadoms in it.
Then we go on a pub crawl of Keswick drinking as much as possible! many men at this point tend to have owl heads ie looking at girls bottoms when they walk past.
When the bell rings we walk down the ally way of life to the loft night club not like any-other night club in the UK all age ranges from 21 to 61 in so even the ugly ones of us stand a chance of pulling.
Some people bring there partners some don't there are no rules no payment to be made to anybody expect the landlord of each pub we go in the lakeland spice for your food and the bed you sleep in.
Your a nelson lad?? lift up can be sorted i will pick up young al Fowler as well so that would fill my car up
Yup, for my sins, I am a Nelsonite. If there's more than just us going along our stretch of route, I can use my car to pick up a few too. (Looks like we got ourselves a convoy! Bagsie Rubber Duck). Otherwise, count me in, and we'll chuck some cash at you for the petrol.
Okay then, if that's how it goes down, where's everybody stopped in the past? Any recommended lodgings? And how much has this set you back - roughly?
pmsl at Amex's 'ally way of life'!
YHA was £12.50 last year with buffet breakfast and the curfew lifted  Tons of cheap B&Bs in Keswick ;)
Being the responsable mother figure that I am, I have to agree with dad Amex... Sorry Tom :( You are obviously welcome on the run, as long as you wear ear plugs so you can't overhear our 'adult' conversation going on ;) but no drinking and night clubbing... you will have to wait a couple of years for that...
