You're probably right. I'm off shopping.
Are you suffering from bike envy?
When I said "shopping", I mean't bread, milk, tea leaves, and lemon drizzle cake ingredients.... :p
Yes yes well done Han
When you can do it on tired legs you know your doing well.
Tired legs for me after the fell race on sunday but still managed 40miles in that bloody wind.
Dont worry about your time. The weather has a massive effect on this.
The fact you enjoyed it is the main thing.
BUT
did you clean the bike down Han ????????????????????
My king of the mountains top is due to arrive by the end of the month... I am apprehensively excited now about the Tour de Galles... Dim Wibblio!!!
Another hard ride planned for tonight, I think 3 in a row will do me good... crash course in getting stronger faster
Going to ride to Abergavenny, then ride the route of the Welsh National Champs I am doing 19 July and back again... The course is undulating with one hill in it, so not too hard, but the race itself goes over that hill three times... total distance 54 miles.
Tonights distance will be about 75 kms and I will ride it at a reasonable pace and the race loop at race pace... The race loop is about 16.5 miles...
Suitably inspired off for a quick 50.......
How was it Toff, which col(s) did you climb?
Col du Llanwonno and several other "minor" climbs, not quick, too much wind and too much uphill and need to keep a lid on it before the Dragon ride at the weekend. So 3hrs just over, 52 @16mph average. Now in purdah, resting and eating cake before the weekend:):)
