And they look like being essential footwear on 9th - last 2 recces have been ankle deep mud and porridge like sludge all the way down to blue pig - very steep so keeping control with 50-100 people behind you could be interesting....

Thinking of getting in another recce for Friday evening - say 19.15?

Bah can't make friday, off to wales for stepson's stag do friday lunch till sunday, looks like i'll have to save the surprise of the course for race day.

Hi Trig,

I recognised the second stone you posted (there's a picture of me next to it from the 7 Trigs on your camera I think - proof I was there!). I'm planning to be at Cragg Vale tomorrow. I'm at the Oakworth Haul on Saturday - I'll take a load of flyers and press them into people's hands :-)
