Cheers Ian It is very hard image to take. From the summit of Causey Pike it covered the whole of the northern sky, As I started to climb it was like the sky was on fire, By the time we descended it hard turned bluer.

What an achievement, fantastic! I was doing the 10 Peaks which started at 4am on the 2nd, and completed in just over 19hrs, and know how warm it was all day. Coming towards the end of my event, I agree with those on here with an eye for a good night-time photo, the sky was stunning, and they really were perfect night conditions.
Nicky, this is some record to have set...congrats.
Superb, on a bit of a warm day too. Seems she had time for another peak or two ;-) Legend
Amazing! I was roasting at the Saunders. That is some achievement.
This is almost as good as the sky we had but with Skiddaw in the foreground

What a way to end a special day..
(thanks Nick)
Awesome achievement, the sort of which most of us could only dream of... well done
Well done Nicky a brilliant achievement.
Congratulations. Amazing.
very, very well done nicky. you looked like you were moving well up great end. I thought it was you as I descended with my son, Ben and his friend Harry, but wasn't sure to start with, then I saw Yiannis and he told me what you were up to. Yiannis seemed very concerned he wouldn't catch up if he stopped to chat to me! What a day to do it on - one of the best, enjoyed by the hoardes on scafell pike including a man in a banana costume.
