It was a pleasure to accompany you all on leg 2, even if we didn't see a thing until Seat Sandal! It was also great to be in Keswick to see you all come in.

Well done Tring, I was a little worried for your contenders over Great Gable (probably more about how I was feeling at the time!) but the looked like they got a good wriggle on towards the end.
Phil Wosit - not a bad effort having only to have done a 21 mile as your longest run this year... :D

Did anyone leave a 10 litre water carrier at the Moot Hall on Saturday night? Tring posse perhaps? I can take it to the Saunders next weekend if it is a Tring thing and give it to Rick (full of water, and he has to carry it for the 2 days). All I need to do then is find a way to slow the other 39 entrants and I might be saved from embarrassment!

21:37 for Phil and Julien after being about 20 minutes down on the 23 hour schedule at Wasdale. It was a storming finish. I felt a great deal of responsibility at Honister after they speeded up towards the end of Leg 4, and by Little Town I hadn't got much left (too many big hills last week) so handed over to Daz H to sprint in with them. Not sure of the exact times for the others.Quote:
