wharfee's vid of the Whitestones race...

How steep are the climbs/descents here?
If we are talking Fell End Clouds, there is nothing too steep. The going underfoot is good and a bit like Birkrigg without the road & footpath sections. Probably suits the strong XC runner more than true fell runners but the scenery is good and there is plenty of room to park.

Loving these videos, they really capture the day, thanks for putting in the effort to make them.
Only monotonous in the sense that my kids are always at the back of the field!! But they like seeing themselves. Tonight one said, "oh look, I'm walking". I'm going to miss tomorrow cos Loughrigg Silver Howe on my doorstep, but the three of us will be there in spirit.
Great race today, the first time I've run this one and it's a classic. Legs won't be too good tomorrow though!
Great race today, me and my lass really enjoyed it. Thanks to all the organisers. We are really enjoying the vids Wharfee, you even managed to capture us both running last week.:)

Another cracking vid warfee
I did our local fete fell race and was embarrased to be beaten by a lad still in primary school. However watching that vid I would have been beaten by most of the under 12. Some of them were flying up hill!!!
any weather forecasts for Sebergh area? We've just had about 1 inch snow between Haworth and Colne. May be hard to get down our track, never mind further north.
Hope its still on as were setting off soonish :(
David and I not going - don't think we could even get down to the main road in Trawden. Heavy snow forecast for Sedbergh at 12 o'clock.
Inov8, wycoller: I'm meant to be reccying BG 3 and 4 next weekend - what do you think are the chances of that being doable?
I'm south pennines so very different weather to the lakes. Guess it depends what happens this week, Monday is bad forecast as well.
10.20am, Sunday morning. Hows Barbon looking at the moment? Lots of snow here in Kendal.
