God help us, smut on the forum!
Quick for some DT. Uh, not for me! Yep, bit of a climb then flat for about 10 miles, but still hard running in places. A real tester. Should be comfortably in front of you Fowler.:D The trick is to sprint off as fast as you can at the start. Always works.
Well i used that technique at Auld Lang Syne and it worked for about the first mile until my lungs decided they didnt have enough oxygen!!!!!
And anyway pudgy - you didnt seem to be doing too bad in Eddies Revenge this year (I watched the video on youtube last night and saw a pony flying down the hill - then found the results and there was you in 10th. I am actually scared you will leave me for dead:eek:!!!!

Althoughyou come past the camera about 4th - what happened.

Died on my arse Al! Got passed by all kinds of fat plodders (hi, Disco stan!). Even Fleeter nearly beat me :p
Wouldn't worry now though, I'm even fatter and would you believe managed to get slower:rolleyes:
I suppose I should do this race sometime as I was part of the original recce - before it was even a race!
Directions please. I know its in Littleborough which according to google maps is Rochdale - but where!!!!
Uphill my arse. Its as flat as a particularly flat pancakealmost all the way
Never stopped you in the past Woger!

Is this the pub in question?
If it is - the postcode is OL159LY
Do they show postcodes on OS maps? I'l stick with the NGR!
You trendy young lads with satnav! It's de-skilling the black art of navigation!!:D
Although postcodes don't appear on OS maps, you can use them on their FREE "get-a-map" website; type in a post code and you get a map with the post code in the centre. This is useful if you've got a post code and no grid reference and it is a very cheap way of getting a map for a day out.
Running from the old bill with the Stacky chavs will keep you fit mate:D:D:p
So i get the impression that this race has a climb at the start and then flat with lost of bogs.....wet, wild and windy from the pictures last year!
Should be good.
