Really impressive, lot of work gone into that, Can't wait to run it. Thanks Dave and Eileen.

Wouldn't mind having a first go at the Stoop, but can't justify 2 races up there so close together to wife (I'm on the entry list for 'ALS')

Great fun as usual, with 400 Santa hats heading for the hills.
Dave's pre-race Health and Safety talk was also a highlight...;)
Lots of pictures added to http://racingsnakes.com/Stoop.php and for the banter on Facebook .... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=1b20b515c3
Great photos thanks Mick. Great race as usual. Dave's pre-run briefings are one of the reasons I always enter. Priceless!
All Stoop pictures senior & junior up on http://woodentops.org.uk Official results up shortly
There was a photographer at the Stoop stone itself taking photo's, any idea who that was or where the photos are?
Looking wet for Sunday although it won't be too cold.
Anyone do this one?
I'm planning on being there.
We might be there
Thanks to Dave & Eileen and their helpers for today....great fun :D
Well done Steve, good to see you back running.
Another great production by the Wooderntops machine. Many thanks.
On leaving the house this morning my wife said, " I can't believe you're racing today, you can hardly walk you're a bloody idiot". This is not the usual 'goodbye' see you later, but this morning she had a point.
Yesterday I did the 39 mile Tour de Helvellyn race in the Lake District. This morning I felt trashed and racing wasn't really an option. But I can't resist a Woodhead race, it's not just the race it's the crack. Where else do you get free chocolate and the chance to see hundreds of fellrunners trudging across the moors in Santa hats. Every energy sapping bog had yesterday's 39 miles chewing me up and spitting me out, not forgetting my wife's words ringing in my ears....she really does know best.
Result wise, less said the better....but I enjoyed it and that's what counts.
Many thanks to Woodheads and helpers.
My deliberately soft focus, not because I've got rain on the lens, photos are here http://www.photos-dsb.co.uk
Provisional senior & junior results on https://plus.google.com/photos/11043...7443848/albums times will be sorted out later
First time I've done Stoop today, loved it. Will be back for ALS and Stanbury Splash.

This will be my come back run.
A light jog in thick mud will be a laugh.
Good luck Trev. There's a slim possibility I might see you there
It's likely both me and Stef will be there tomorrow
If you can call a pathetic 13 minute mile pace running then yes. See you there
Another enjoyable production by Mr & Mrs W.
Had a gentle potter at the back with the sweepers and had some good company.
After the heart opp I'm on the come back now:-)
Thankyou to all who helped and ran.
Merry Christmas
We enjoyed it too. Glad to hear you had fun Trev and see you soon at a race. It's been far too long
