What a cracking night for a fell race.
I really enjoyed that - especially the creme egg at the finish ! Thanks to all who made the race possible.
Thankyou to everyone who made a donation on the night to my FELL RACE FOR LIFE charity fundraising effort.
The total amount now stands at around £1500 which will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Bloody ell Simon, you'll never make a Fell Race salesman mate:p
If i had a pound for every time i've felt like that during a short sharp one, i wouldn't need to buy a lotto ticket:wink:
I like to think I sold mine pretty well!
Start of the longer nights.....Tues 2nd of April. Now 8k/ 250m, suppose that means summat to the younger uns. Entry would still be cheap if it was twice the price.
This next Tuesday April 2nd it's The annual Liver Hill Race from Marl Pits Sports Centre on Newchurch Road Rawtenstall. There are still some big drifts on the route but passable without problem. Start is 6:45 pm prompt or some runners will be finishing in the dark !
Be prepared and bring a cag we may insist on you wearing or carrying it given the present cold weather and it being an evening race.
Races for juniors set off 5 mins after the seniors, mass start for all age groups with varying turn back points depending on your age group. Age as of day of the race.
Thanks for the info Lefty is it still free?
Free entry no prizes. Further details here.

Slight mistake in the calendar minimum age is 16 and not 18. Under 18s/over 16 do the main race all other Juniors in a separate junior race.
