Well the topic may be tedious but intelligent people (well two) being arrogant and insulting and patronising is much more fun than "what shoes should I wear..."

I don't think there are any space constraints on the forum.
I'm amused that people come onto this thread to say how it's boring. It's like writing into a letters section of a newspaper to say the letters section of the newspaper is boring.
I find the car share section quite dull, but I don't go on to it to let people know I'm not going to that race. :)
Anyway, back to the topic in hand. What are people's predictions on whether we will extend the deadline. I think it's looking quite likely.
Extend deadline? Deadline of what Noel? The thread ends on the day we were meant to leave. Apparently that’s the 29th of March (I didn’t know but found it googling) 😏
I think the thread should end the day after we actually leave or decide to stay. Then we can start a post-Brexit thread and see if we can get to 80 pages of that!
If / when we leave I’m going to introduce a ‘one for one’ policy. Political thread posts will be earned by posting on other ‘real threads’ eg details of one good run out on your local fell in Today’s Training will enable you to post one load of tedious badly researched / ill thought out political diatribe. Injury reports brought on by overtraining might give you say a double helping of similar. Humorous race reports maybe three. Then we might go back to having a lively running forum 👍🏻
Allready upto 62 pages, so 3/4 of the way there.

It is what is known in less serious circles as ‘a joke’ albeit maybe a slightly pointed one
Along similar lines prime season ended around autumn 2012
Over the weekend I brought my son down to a Canoe Slalom at Llandysul. Afraid I have to say I ran on the roads, I just don't know the area plus it is all farm land so the land would be very soft, not particularly inspiring.
I have to say as road runs go it was actually pretty nice, lovely countryside and loads of hills.
