Whilst out on a run got a heckle

She’d turned into Hyde from nice Jekyll

There was an old man called Merry,
Who ran and slipped on a cherry,
Such was his luck,
He landed on a duck,
And was billed for the damage, funny, very:D

There once was a nice lad named Fowler
Who committed a bit of a howler
When out running one night
Gave a young lass a fright
Got his name on a list as a prowler


Sorry Al - rhymes were quite limited :eek::D

Limericks are great fun but difficult to write well. I'm working on one or two but they're works in progress atm :o;)

I just stick the name into the rhyming generator and see what pops up.

There was a young man named Caster
Who suddenly ran a lot faster
When one day he heard
He could run as a bird
If he strapped down his co*k with a plaster.

Sorry Freckle, probably not what you were thinking! And now I'm off to run in the rain with a headtorch!
