Thanks stevie for your kind comments....i liked your analysis of the testosterone bathed ears....which could be equally as true as my more literal intention (think hairs and ears :eek:)...In this poem (which I was a bit reluctant to post as I wasn't sure about it), I was trying to capture the mryiad things about a certain someone which I find beautiful, the speech marks were used to highlight bits of language/words that are used regularly by this person which I find funny/engaging etc...:)

PS Stevie...good use of the word gannin, I like it , a lot!!!!

Hello folks, apologies for being absent lately, work and life are getting in the way of the forum! I'm coming to AW and am planning on camping overnight Friday nearby and will get to start of race by 10am. I'm hanging out most of the afternoon to see everyone before setting off home later on. Just had a real problem with my knee at harriers and am slightly worried about getting round the course but I'll give it a go anyway, ibuprofen and blind hope might do it.

Hi Freckle, I'm looking forward to it too. My knee is an old injury from last year but it plays up now and again. I think I stressed it when I dug the trenches for my potatoes this afternoon. Something inside is pinching but its ok once I get running just hard to get started again if I stop. Might need to get it checked out sometime.

I did Carlton Bank last night and that may have aggravated it too.
