Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Thanks to you and your helpers for a great event Brett. I feel suitably punished for not giving it enough respect. Started to hurt halfway round and just never got any easier. My partner thought he was going to struggle to keep up was the one who ended up dragging me around.
Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Thanks for a great day out. Drizzle when I left home and I thought we were in for a damp cold day- it was glorious. Great company all round- nice to chat again Andy and sorry I couldn't keep up. Clive with jelly babies on road up to Heptonstall was good. Biggest thanks to Helen for her company for much of the way and for making me try to run when the body was saying no. Hope it was not me that led you astray near te end - I stupidly follwed 4 guys in front of me , all the time thinking it was wrong, which it was! Rick the way you motored up the hill after Hardcastle I was convinced you were off and gone?Amazed I was only a minute down on last year as it seemed much worse for me in the middle section

HCB's were great they got me round I ate 4. I even had a hot dog. Usually rely on gels but made a conscious effort to eat solids this time and it did make a difference and a used the gel for top up.

Lightweight!!! There were at least 3 who did the 30 mile To Ell & Back today. Fantastic - well done Chris & Rachel (don't know the other chap's name).

I didn't know Chris & Rachel were doing that (assuming this is Chris H & shaunandrachel). They didn't seem to be holding back much yesterday, so they must be pretty done in now. Good effort!

Very well done, Ell and Back is a tough route in itself, done the event and used it as a training run as it passes through where i live, never the day after the hobble though, respect.
