4 hard miles on the hard road of hard 20:20 Fartlek .
Usual 7 mile fell run.
I'd agree with that - I'd never even run on the road until a couple of months ago, and every one was friendly.... even bought me a beer on the 2nd outing!
Don't worry about the speed thing, that had me intimidated too but then I turned out to be smack in the middle of the group. It's just that the fastest ones shout the loudest ;)

You know the drill etc :D
Ok in order....
Well you do have 4 small legs to work with. but being a woman you can handle that many;)
That said I don't think many work as hard as you on the hill rep days. One tough cookie.
Still recovering but it's coming...
That can't be me then I'm so quiet and unassuming;)
Well Marvin and myself went from the Top of Woodhead pass over roundhill and picked up the HPM route which we ran/walked/waded/climbed along as far as Wainstones, We returned via the Boulton Wreck at White stones and the Tea plant near the 1894 stone. Still some serious snow about. I'll post some pics later on the HPM thread.
We appeared to be in the middle of a big cloud hole today what ever direction we looked had thick cloud where we had blue sky above. 12.6 miles Longest day out since Tanky's but you could call it a run as we were out for nearly 5 hours
Yes, a very pleasant day out IDP. As you say, there was some serious snow still - groughs full to the top, snow crisp enough to take your weight some of the time. If only the snow had been a bit crisper, it would have been very easy running up there for a change.
Steady 5 on trails this morning, it is getting lighter!!!
Then 6 speed sess this evening.
Feeling good
