Ta. Sometimes it goes away for a month or so and then I feel anything is possible but when it returns it's a bit demoralising.
I've got my first couple of hard days in the Lakes coming up end-Feb so I'm keen to see how it reacts to that.

about 8 mile recovery run (can you call 8 miles recovery) slow a steady with about 600ft ascent. didn't really break into a sweat
10(ish?) undulating and very wet XC - lovely :D
6ml / 1300ft up and down Beamsley Beacon. Sadly we don't have a 'knackered' smilie ;)
:D
Stolly, top one looks about right but I suspect you must have seen me eating a bowl of soup when I got back as the middle one is eerily accurate!! :D:o
Lovely run today, Stanage Edge, Banford Edge, Win Hill and Derwent Edge - helping a friend of mine get some elevation into his legs for the Edale Skyline.... 12 miles, 2600' climbing has left me a bit tired (There's my excuse for tomorrow's road race IanDP) and I think Si and Buster (the dog) are more so!
Only bad part of the run was the lack of views, spent most of the time in the clouds, or the fine misty drizzle just below them....
A 2:35 trott round the Mickleden Straddle course. The clag was down, plenty of snow was down and my time was down!
