Could be worse, I did teacher training in Liverpool, just after Arsenal won the league in 92, now that was hard!! Still have scar from stitches in my head being an arsenal fan up there at that time!!

Mancini won a major trophy in his first full season at City; took the Blues to 3rd place (equal 2nd on points!) and now has taken us through our first CL campaign with honour and into the latter stages of the Europa League, plus of course the League Cup semi and much to play for.
Are you losing it?
Your last final point is so strange its madness....
Fergie took over an ageing United team. He spent fairly big, but incomparable with todays buys, he bought some of the best players in England, not the best players in the world like City have done. He also took over a mediocre side which were only going backwards due to their age. Mancini took over a side with a strong core already built.
City will have the same CL addiction.... that'll be for sure.. UEFA's fair play scheme regarding finances dictates that... if they continue to spend you HAVE to reach the final stages on a regular basis..
United fans have been spoilt and yes you see those who turn against Fergie... it's a disgrace personally.. yes Wednesday wasn't good, but we're a young team and have made mistakes this year, but Fergie has built, dismantled, rebuilt, so many times you have to just trust him.

I'm not a United fan but this is a very good point
Re: Tonight's football thread

Noooooooo, come on City!!!
Re: Tonight's football thread
HT
Chelsea 1 City 1 - City should have had a penalty and Meireles is lucky to be still on the pitch. Nicely poised for the second half!
Re: Tonight's football thread
Manchester City are the only club with 'City' in their name to win the top tier of the English league...
Unbelievable Jeff!
