3 years of trying to get in the race, 8 months of training and now just a 3 ½ hour car drive to the Ben ready for tomorrow.

arrived in hotel, staying at Clan Macduff just as you come into Fort William. a bit wet to go anyrhere though!!
Wet, windy, especially higher up, low cloud.
Turned out the forecast was overly pessimistic - light drizzle only, cloud base not that low, but was very windy on top. Was muddier last year - the green wall was almost unremarkable this year - though they had flagged the easiest way down.
Great race 1st time on Ben,I left my mudclaws,socks,t shirt and Pennine vest in shower room if anyone found it ?
Well Done Andy (what a year :)!)- that's really doing the Ben in fine style....
If you find my stuff from a few years back, please bring it back too - could well reek a bit be' now!
