9 miles roads (boo!) West Sheff...Wish the lighter nights would hurry up...
9.4 miles up the Wessenden valley to Shiny Brook Clough in the snow & down the old PW and up Blakely Clough to Black Moss res, past Warcock Hill & down to Marsden. 1600 ft ascent and 1 hour 40 mins. Only saw two human foot prints the whole run.
5 an half miles before the snow started falling once again...
6 miles in the hills out back earlier on this evening, on the back of 6 yesterday evening and 6 more on Tuesday lunchtime :cool:.
I'm really getting in to this taking panorama pictures millarky - this ---> click here is Attermire and Warrendale Knotts at about 4:30 this afternoon in the snowy gloom. I was whizzing down the back of High Hill on the way to the cairn on top of the hill on the left :D
todays non training!
Just got in the car to go run up cutgate and along Howden to Swains head and down to Wood head summit. Snowing big wet flakes, thick fog and I've got to be up at 4.30 in the morning.....
So i bailed...I must be going soft.

Lunchtime: reps of bounding, hopping, running backwards and trying to sprint in Kendal cemetery! (Well, the Techniques of Downhill Running book suggests such a session can help my downhill speed - and I need all the help I can get!)
Evening: torchlit run over Loughrigg with plenty of snow underfoot.

Short but sweet run up and down Badandun Hill in Angus, 5.5-6 miles 1420ft Ascent, lovely snow conditions making life easy today!
Trip to lakes was cancelled at 2.30 am!!
Wenr from Birchin Clough on the Snake up Ashop Clough to MillHill then followed HPM route over Kinder BK LS MT to Edale. Reversed TT over a stunning crossing and back to Birchin Clough.

Conditions were tough with fresh deep snow covering all the usuall track/trods.
Didn't see any one until Edale Cross. vis was 5-10m for the first 2.5 hours not helped by the fact I lost the map! Mam tor ridge though was melting fast and well trod down.
1km reps next to the Edinburgh ski slope :eek:
