Recced the route on Saturday and despite having done this race 3 times before (1: fog, 2: blizzard, 3: Followed the local vest), I am still not sure of the best line from Jacob's Ladder to Grindslow Knoll.
Big question though, is who's tempted to try the down and up from Grindslow to Ringing Roger? :)

It kind of looks tempting when you stand and look back at Grindslow from RR as it feels like a long way round the skyline, but it's also a bleeding long way down (and up!) It'd take some bottle to do it on race day - I didn't even want to try it during a nice pleasant day out recceing. :oQuote:
