Quite literally the hardest thing I have successfully completed to date.
Many thanks to all the marshalls for their kind generosity of jelly babies and drinks. Much needed!
I was amazed how 2 weeks out of action had such a detrimental effect on endurance.
Last mile or 2 on the road was hell, was literally running on nothing, just a mental battle to cross the line still running.
All in all, brilliant! :)
Only 3.30mins. I'm happy with that considering I'd written off the race 2 weeks ago.
Defo sub 3hrs easy next year if injury free.
There were a couple of diversions upping the milage due to erosion, so I think the winning time was a relatively slow 2.30mins, but this is un-confirmed.
Times def slower than other years though.
Well done, peeps. I made a right arse of my photography today as I left a custom setting on for the shutter speed so the majority of my pics have gone in the virtual bin and the ones that I will post up are slightly blurred at best!! Not happy. Link below is probably my favourite out of the set which I decided to have a play with the HDR software on. Will post a link up to the others when uploaded.

Great Race, Thanks to Kieran and all the marshalls and helpers etc.
That was hard!
Extra 0.5 miles (garmin) over last year, still quicker though.
What about the numpties that forgot their tags at the start
Some photos to upload soon from Mrs T

Anyone recognise anyone in the HDR pics?
Okay, hands up who said that'd be a good idea?:D
Echo thanks to the organisers, marshalls & supporters. A quality day out. Weather could have been worse, but for all that still pretty grim. Wind on the penultimate climb (up from CP7) nearly knocked me over a couple of times.
Finished 9mins up on last yr which given diversions and knee niggles (sore from CP5 onwards) I'm really pleased with.
Good effort from the miracles: Tussocks & ukhursty.:)
Merrylegs, think I was running with you down to CP2 (did you have the sheep Buff? I was in the orange cag). By the time I'd decided it was you and was going to say hi, you'd picked up the pace and I couldn't catch you!:p
Same again next year?;)
