just to warn you that DanAzz and myself (as a Fell Ponies "Team"!) are doing a 3-hour score event in the Peak District on Sunday, so look out for a hair-raising report of our exploits next week... :D

Was on the site (http://www.ukfellponies.org.uk) and tried to post this, it muttered something about being logged in or some-think. So I'll post it ere instead.

'...Whenever I am reading the fra forum I often come across a link to here so I thought I would take a look. Now this is about the zillianth time I have been on here (http://www.ukfellponies.org.uk) and was wondering how a mortal like myself could join this merry band (Not sure what a collection of fell ponies is?). The biggest hill round my way are my own stairs but I do love to get 'up North' ..'

What shall it be then, sheep disguise or dress, decisions, decisions:confused::eek:

In case you haven't heard they've moved the car park area at Ovingham to an industrial estate at Low Prudhoe on the other side of teh river. It'll take 15 minutes to walk to the bus pick up if you are using it.

Actually this isnt strictly true....

The vests are an optional accessory, you can join without forking out for one:cool:

Mrs Bother driving so nee bus fer me, ta for info tho, are you running, we were going to stay ower there for a drink but Robot Elvis is on at our local boozer (Baz Warne, ex Stranglers) so wer arl gannin back there for a kneez up:)

DanAzz & I logged a 67th/113 finish for the Fell Ponies at the Dark&White Mini Mountain Mara yesterday, and amazingly not too many embarrassing anecdotes to report - everything went fairly smoothly :eek:

I won't be getting one. I never got chance to wear my pink pony vest yet due to being injured all summer.

In all modesty, I must report to having had a jolly spiffingly good run, Huhrumble for me!!!! Nee Bother had a canny run, 47th out of 600 in just over the hour
