What, you're not making it yourself?
Shame;)
Re: Heptonstall Fell Race
A few of us are coming across from Hull, looking forward to it.

The PDF map will be good for the race - the only difference on the day will be the last 500-600m - but this will be heavily flagged - and you'll be past caring by then anyway??
Are there many others come over from Peleponese?
Kalispera Trig! Thanks for your reply, I'm afraid that I will be a lone raider as my friends are choosing to remain on Lesbos and the other islands! You are right to suggest that I will be past caring near the end (perhaps it may start somewhat further out).
I hope the day goes well for you, I'm betting that it does, here's to our PB's! Σας δείτε την Κυριακή PTG

Excellent Fozzy! a warm (and sunny) Heptonstall welcome awaits - free / tea and coffee from 9am - over night camping allowed in parking field.
Its great to know you guys and others (Cambridge/London/Lakes etc) are up for it - a big part of making Heptonstall a long race was to make it worth the journey - I think the ratio of miles travelled to miles run is quite important when choosing races - particularly now Unleaded is £1.33 a litre (plus of course the quality of race - hope you enjoy the route)
Have you been to Heptonstall before???

Hi Trig, didn't mean to deceive you! I'm actually only travelling 126.8 miles. The Ouzos are on me if you guess my home town in three guesses! PTG

No we haven't, shame really considering it sounds like a great area to get out running, but we've done the Good Shepherd Fell Race at Mytholmroyd a couple of years ago, thats not too far from Heptonstall I believe. Really enjoyed that one, so if its run on similar terrain then great.
Over here in Hull its flat as a fart so we sometimes feel a bit out of our depth, but we still have a good go, and generally really enjoy 'em.
