Thanks to Kev and all his helpers for putting on the race. It was a warm day today but there was a good breeze on the tops (not Graham though he was running :D)
These were the results posted so far when I left and ARE NOT COMPLETE as there are later finishers to be included.

Thanks Kev and team. My first Turnslack - loved it. Great race. Will be back next year.
That was tough - it wasn't so much the climbs - just didn't have any left towards the end on the runnable stretches. Good turnout from CVFR - Shaun you've won a really useful prize...............;)
Anyone who ran Turnslack yesterday will be easy to spot due to the shin-high barbedwire scar......like a medal of honour.;)
Ha ha - like you lot I too carry the Turnslack shin scar. Much betetr than a T-shirt. What a fantastic presentation venue, with the Right Irreverant Kev 'Shandy' Shand presiding below that beautiful stained glass window. I'll put a pic of it on gpsracepmaps.
This year's race is on Sat 21st July: http://www.racemaps.org.uk/turnslackfellrace.htm . Its a cracker!
Kev's usual helpers for marking the course are unavailable, so if anyone is likely to be able to help on Friday 20th July, 5pm, please contact Kev ASAP. His contact details are here: http://fellrunner.org.uk/races.php?id=1646

one of the best fell races,if not best fell races in the lancs/yorks area.
those who have never done this race will be suprised at just how tough it is.
matches many lakes races for severity.
most of all the atmostphere is very much how all fell races used to be,home baked cakes,tea/coffe all served from a church.
do it.
