Well this could be interesting...........
If weather stays similar to what we've had for last few days it will be a tough outing
Yeah DT, tough with knobs on I'm thinking. To be honest even though (and maybe because) I entered yonks ago, this has sort of been off my radar until er... NOW! I looked at last year's results a couple of days ago and a steady 4 mph for the whole 105 miles was the time for the guy who came 11th! Only 52% of the LL100 starters finished and only a third of them were under 30 hours with first lady Rach (carrying the banner for Settle) coming 27th overall with a time of 28:47 hours. Could be a long night, day and night then :)

Why not carry 2 poles in one hand and scratch your arse with the other? ;)
I've cut the pole strap etc off my 12 set. Generally I run down without them unless I'm really jiggered, so a quick stop to slot the poles into the capacious side pockets I find is time well spent.
Good luck everyone :) one of my friends doing the 50 and 2 doing the 100. Looking forward to everyone's accounts  Stay safe and have fun.
[QUOTE=Tussockface;551099]You mean the high humidity, hill fog, sudden intense downpours and risk of lightning?
At least it won't be boring.
