No it wasn't you with the helping hands!! It wasn't at the trig point either but chekpoint 8 ish somewhere?!
I'll try and look fresh then to add an element of suprise and break the habit!!

That's not what you told me AlsoRan. A few years ago you had a woman in your tent, supplied her with alchohol then asked her to lay down. Trousers or otherwise ~ you are guilty:eek:
By the way, I wouldn't mind some hot ribena if you could spare some. I promise I'll drink it this time ~ unlike the day on Gable:)
oooooh, is someone handing out goodies on the day? can i have some, i'll be in black trackers and helly top with bright yellow beanie hat, i'll be waddling side to side in pain while trying to smile and show enjoyment
Unlike others who have given great thought to their outfit for the day, I don't know what I'll be wearing, so just look out for the nervous looking chap by a red Vectra in Barley car park.
I didn't get any food offers last year - obvuiously didn't look as bad as I felt.
DD and SS make yourself known on Saturday, should have a light blue Rossy vest on:cool:
Ouch! i asked for that one. See you Saturday ady:eek:
They say black makes you look thinner!:p
Im not racing as ive never been here before so im gonna plod round. Who knows who i could get chatting too. Decided tonight after a short run and im aching all over still from la roaches.
Oh bye the way where is Barley:confused:.
I'm just going to turn up with a camera... best place to take pics?
3/4 way up big end (last climb)
Quite possible to do both spots.
Really looking forward to this now. Quite a buzz about it.
Knees, don't fail me now!!
I may go quite pink for the day or possibly orange
Should make me quite easy to spot ;)
CP4 might be a good place, get the Geronimo descent and river crossing. You could start at the double gate on the path to the top, get a few shots here then move down to CP4/11. You could then get people on the way back in at the same spot.
Anyone got any shoe advice, not done this race before but I 'm thinking Mudclaws over Harriers?
Definitely mud claws unless you've got size 13 feet and you're good at skiing ?
Absolutely - the top bog crossing just after the trig will be 3 foot deep in places :D
*packs stilts*
