No, some cheap rubbish from Morrisons - £1 a bottle (660ml). Wouldn't have chosen it if it was try before you buy!

I stood around all day to see that race on Sunday, so i am sure i can get the pies and peas in, etc etc...

There's no pie and peas around here. Fine wine, whisky, real ale and the odd fat cuban for old wheezy.
Tonight though, I'll be raising a small glass for Toffer whilst he lies sedated on the operating table. :)

Awww is he not well, not sure who Toffer is, but you can tell me all about it over a brandy or two...

I was down in Derbys at the weekend merry and got rather over re-hydrated on Marston's Pedigree on Friday night so it's tea only for me tonight too ;):(:eek:

I'll take the shortbread, but can I wash it down with London Pride instead? I earned it earlier by going out for a run in the freeeezing cold!

There's a brewing story that Pedigree "Doesn't travel well", which is true if it's not allowed to settle properly before being served. It's also true that one of the closest pubs to the brewery serves the worst pint of it possible!
