Unbelievably slow 10km muddy jog with my 70-year old friend. Groin strain still niggling away. And to think this year I was finally tempted by Man v.Horse. Now it'll need a miracle if I'm to go to Llantrwyd Wells...:mad:

11 miles club run including running there and back.
8 x 750ft hill reps, about 11 mins each (up and down)
felt absolutely brilliant and was going to do 10 or 12 in prep for Duddon, but had to give up cos didn't want to aggravate sore achilles
5k parkrun - new pb of 19:54. Not sure how this helps going up and down mountains but I'm happy!
14.4 from Binn Green Car Park, round Dovestones, up to Chew, along the PW to Balck Hill & Back. 2360 feet up and down in 2:51. A bit wet.
Three short runs mid week, Wednesday being the Vanessa Chappell race - wot a fab venue in the moorside Grange hotel.
Today well hung over and missed my mate at 7am. went out at 8 from Snake Pass onto Bleaklow Head, BL Stones and back via The Swamp. ~7 miles 700ft. Really cold at the start, put on everything I was carrying!
A smashing 21.4 up & around Bleaklow & Black Hill with Mick. 4170 up & down in 5:22. Nice to see Spookster on Laddow rocks, training for his BGR.
