Hi folks, apologies for the obvious question, have tried searching back through the thread but haven't been able to readily find the answer...
Where do people camp for the race? My plans have all been a bit up in the air this year so not been able to sort the logistics in advance. Would like to get on where most runners stay but if not I'll look for somewhere else in the vicinity.
Thanks!
Not wanting to spoil a fantastic campsite but check out Bunroy near spean bridge, it's a little further(20 minutes) but cheap at £7 pp with good facilities, great wildlife esp birds set in a little wood by the river spean. it's very quiet and never busy and is always my campsite of choice, very friendly.
if you are going to behave then mention my name ;)
Thanks Stolly / Ian, good to have a few options. Just need to decide now whether I want a quieter / cheaper option or a slightly more expensive / nearby option with probably more opportunity for banter with other runners!
Just checked the weather forecast, going to be cold and sleety on Friday, fingers crossed for a drastic change on Saturday!
Cool but sunny here.

Alternatively, you can camp in Glen Coe and go to the Ballachulish Hotel Ceilidh the night before, get moderately absolutely howling, walk back in the rain at 3am and then have a jolly good run a few hours later.
Not that I would condone that sort of thing.
or ever actually do it....................um, yes, well.
It was an awfully good ceilidh!!!
Looking better as the week progresses.
Can't wait now.
