a poor morning out over Howden edge, I really can't hack this heat. probably about 6 miles but felt further. stunning views though which made it worth while, a big owl flew beneath me at Lost Lad, loads of birds about
A nats tadger under 15 miles from Binn Green car park, round Dovestones, up to Chew, Laddow, Black Hill then back. 2345 ft up and down in 2:46. Chew res is but a puddle.
30 mins worth of hill reps not much but It got me out. Cracking views of Kilnsey crag on the down bits.
Off work so I went for a longish run as it was much cooler out there today. 13 miles and about 2000' climb taking in Top of Pike, Top of Leach, Whittle Pike, Tom Hill and Knowl Hill following the Knowl Hill Fell Race route back to the finish from there.

A 5 miler over east Torside to Bleaklow & Snake Top. A day out with the school kids over Bleaklow, then the reverse back to the car. Top day out, best quote "Compasses are cool!"
Started at Cray and went over Buckden Pike and Great Whernside and finished at Yarnbury. 11.5 miles with 2000ft of ascent 2hrs 20mins. Its a good time to run up that way its as dry as you will get it at the moment.
