I wouldn't be going that way if I were you.

The kind soul who plotted it out is fellow formite PlumBum, who also happens to be one of the RO for Tanky’s:cool:

Last year I did Tankys for the first time and was concerned about getting back to marsden. I put a lift wanted post on the Car Sharing section and the lovely Mrs Stagger very kindly helped  Many of the runners do as you thought trilathon ;)

You know the part on the entry form where you fill in the number of your support vehicle. I believe that's supposed to be the car that drops you off at Marsden, meets you at the IOS road, meets you at Crowden, meets you at the Snake Road and picks you up at Edale.
Or am I being naive?

Marg is refering to the shorter/rougher option over Bleaklow which has been mentioned before. This is ok for Margerine as he is a local enough to have checked the route and has almost certainly recced it. Also mention before is that unless you know your way then Torside is the easiest to navigate and the bulk of runners will go this way.

I can second that. Was on the shorter route on Sunday with the clag well and truly down. Map & Compass can be little help with 50ft visability when moving at speed. It is one thing pacing your way along a bearing, it is another running! We did both routes & managed to circle the Hern stones before we hit them the second time. Still, it wasn't all bad, we found a sock;).
