Re: Overweight Confessions
Nice neat list now, but it does look shorter than I recall. Have we lost a few along the way?
I think there might be a minor hiccup now as well. Everyone is gaining and no-one is losing because surely a loss of minus 4 (-4) really means a gain of 4. I hope someone can save my tormented logical brain from imploding and sort out this dilemma. :w00t:

Minus means loss
Gain means increase
So a person with -10 has dropped their weight by 10lb.
Hope this helps Britnick

What's happened to OHW's cat? Has she lost so much weight now she has disappeared? Come on OHW; we need to know! :closed:

Cat kebab, lovely with a tin of blue.
Re: Overweight Confessions
Had a cracking kebab / wrap for lunch. Salad, veg, meatballs and chips (:o) wrapped in a thin flatbread-type number :closed:

But two negatives make a positive. At least they did when I did algebra in the 1970s. "Loss = -6"? Pedants rule OK. :p

Had to put George, my Golden Retriever on a diet, he's been getting a bit portly recently. Like most Goldens he's very greedy and will try and scavenge food at every opportunity. We have been reducing his portions but then discovered the other day that the dog walker we use has been feeding him sausages.
Re: Overweight Confessions
Oh no! Bad dog walker! Greedy pets, I definitely know about that, our cats always beg and hang around when anyone is in the kitchen, which drives me mad. I don't know if it something they have learnt from their previous owner as I got them as adults (or rather her neighbours as they were very neglected, so maybe it was the only way they got fed before!)
When I was working away I used to leave very early on a Monday and feed the cats when I got up. Then my other half would get up a bit later, assume that I had gone too early to feed them and feed them again.
We caught them out one Monday when we were both up really early and when my other half saw me with the cat food he realised that I had been feeding them all along. I have never seen the fat furballs look so sheepish, they clearly knew what was going on!
