Re: Edale Skyline 29th March 2
Hello Raymond ... I will be among the Brighton contingent ... I think there were three of us last year (was quite pleased with my third place) ... swapping Phoenix vest for Dark Peak this year, but I don't suppose it will make much difference! Ian

You ordered the sun to shine then Mr. down and up?! If it's blowing a gale, blizzard like and pouring I'm not sure there will be much enjoyment to be had until safely back down to the carpark :(

The key to enjoying yourself is to get round the first half as fast as possible - do an all out blast to Mam Nick and you'll find the second half a breeze - it's all very runnable and mostly downhill :D

Hello Mossy - I was looking for a Phoenix runner on the entry and couldn't find one; now I know why.
Good luck and best wishes - Raymond

Is that what you did last year? You didn't look as if you were enjoying yourself when I passed you near Ringing Roger on the way back.:D:D:D

Oh dear, don't remind me. Blew up at Brown Knoll but decided to jog round the second half rather than retire. It did cheer me up at Grindslow Knoll where two runners going much faster than me overtook me three times because they kept taking "shortcuts" which were slightly less than optimum. The third time I even told them it wasn't that way, but they didn't believe me!
